I haven’t posted in a while. This time of year really slams in to my so-called free time. But I felt compelled to write about the amazing Christmas gift I received this year. First of all, before I tell you my gift, let me say that I feel like one of the luckiest people in the world even without this gift. I have a wonderful husband and son, a good job, health. Someone said the other day that I led a charmed life. I don’t. I have had much tragedy in my early years, which is why I know how good I have it now.
So back to my gift. This whole blog started as an homage to my journey as a fledgling writer. It was about my dream.
My dream has come true. It was my Christmas gift this year.
My book was accepted by Siren Publishing and will be out in March of 2012. I am overwhelmed. Floored. Flabbergasted. Holy hell! Thank you Siren, for giving this newbie a chance.
For all of you who have followed me on this journey, thank you.
The next chapters of this journey should be just as exciting. I hope you walk with me. Sharing this and having your support have meant so much. Your comments about how much you like my writing gave me much-needed confidence.
